Bro Myrddin Indoor Bowls Club

Club History

Bro Myrddin Bowls Club was first established in 1996 as a County Council run facility.  In 2015 it was offered as an asset transfer by Carmarthen County Council to its members to take on the management duties in order to secure the ongoing success of this large local Bowls Club.

Since then, Bro Myrddin has been established as a thriving local community hub, offering a range of bowling and non-bowling opportunities ,managing to gain charity status for the operation.

An established group of Trustees, Committee Members and volunteer helpers has enabled us to surpass even our own high expectations.

It was selected as the venue for the 2020 WIBA Wales Champion of Champions event and this will again be held at Bro Myrddin in January 2022.

It was also the venue for International Short Mat Bowls competition in 2019

Bro Myrddin Bowls Club is a state of the art indoor and outdoor bowling facility with a well equipped meeting room, available for private hire, featuring projection facilities and an interactive whiteboard with internet access. It also has a eighty two seated Restaurant..
