Welsh Womens Team Manager Roger Harvey Steps Down

Welsh Women’s Team Manager Roger Harvey is stepping down from the role after five years of outstanding service. During this period Roger has worked tirelessly for the benefit of women’s and junior bowls in Wales showing unwavering commitment and dedication.

Rogers leadership has played a significant role in advancing the performance of both junior and women’s teams at international level.

Alongside managerial responsibilities Roger is also a current international player and the demands of balancing these roles have understandably taken their toll.

For the foreseeable future Roger has decided to focus on the playing side of the sport, though a return to management has not been ruled out.

Welsh Indoor Bowls Officers, Officials and Members would like to place on record their sincere thanks to Roger for his dedication and service to the sport. Roger’s presence will be greatly missed this next season and will be a hard act to follow.
