Passing of Viv Jones

It is with profound sadness that Welsh Indoor Bowls announce the passing of Viv Jones, Viv has served as the D J Trophy Organiser for the Welsh Ladies Indoor Bowling Association and Assistant Competitions Secretary with Welsh Indoor Bowls.

Viv was a familiar friendly face on the Welsh Indoor Bowls Circuit, and her presence will be missed by all her bowling colleagues.

Viv was an international Umpire and a committee member of Cardiff Indoor Bowls Club working tirelessly for the benefit of bowls both indoor and outdoor in Wales.

The thoughts of the Officers and Members of Welsh Indoor Bowls are with Viv’s family at this sad time.
