Welsh Indoor Bowls is seeking to elect suitable qualified and experienced people to the posts listed below :-
ASSISTANT SECRETARY.
Applicants will be expected to have experience of taking minutes of and preparing reports.
Preparing the Calendar of Events
Organising meetings in the absence of the Secretary
Working with the Secretary as requested for the benefit of Welsh Indoor Bowls Members.
Attending meetings as required by the Management Committee and Secretary.
ASSISTANT COMPETITIONS SECRETARY.
Applicants will be expected to work with the Competitions Secretary to organised Leagues and Competitions.
Record results of the above events and update the website at regular intervals.
Attend competitions as and when required.
In the absence of the Competitions Secretary continue the smooth running of Welsh Indoor Bowls Leagues and Competitions.
SENIOR WOMENS SELECTORS (two posts).
Ideally the people appointed would have previous experience of playing international bowls, however whilst this is desirable it is not essential.
Any person expressing an interest in applying for the post must have a good knowledge of the indoor sport of bowls in Wales.
Selectors are expected to attend DJ Trophy; Championship Matches and Development Days to carry out assessment of players as requested by the Team Manager.
They will be responsible for the selection of the Senior Women’s International Team and
Invitational International Events, in conjunction with the Team Manager.
Selectors are expected to always act with integrity and in confidence.
